Intro to Anahata

Another month closing, a new month is ahead in hopes to seek adventure. At our Anahata Healing llc studio, we have new adventures just for your body.

What is Anahata? I've been asked that so many times by friends and family, I thought this would be the perfect place to start these weekly 'what's going on here' blogs. So what is Anahata?

Anahata is Sanskrit (a beautiful language originated over 5,000 years ago. It is the language of India still to this day.) for the Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra is the 4th primary chakra aligned in our body. Anahata translates as 'unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten'. Being as the fourth chakra is directly in the middle of our chests, Anahata is associated with balance, calmness, and serenity. It also serves as our center of love for oneself and others, compassion, empathy and forgiveness. Anahata is represented by the color green, meaning transformation and love energy. The Anahata chakra is associated with unconditional love, compassion, and joy. It is the center of deep and profound truths that cannot be expressed in words.

An open heart chakra allows us to see all of the beauty and love around us. To truly connect to ourselves, our loved ones, and our Mother Earth and all her beauties. This chakra also helps direct love back to ourselves to truly be able to love and accept ourselves and our bodies. Doesn't that sound like a gift? When our heart chakra is blocked, the exact opposite of those gifts occur physically and mentally. Unsure how to Yoga helps with opening the heart. Opening our hearts is so important in this age of everything computers and mobile devices, constantly hunched over. My favorite yoga quote is "It takes an open heart to have an open mind and an open mind to have an open heart". Let us help you.

At Anahata Healing llc, our studio opens it's positively energetic doors to you. Our goal is to create a safe space for you to forget your woes and lift up your spirit. Ohmazing things happen when our hearts and spirits are open and lifted. We want you to do ohmazing things.

Weekly schedule as follows:
